This stitch is made up of a 1-row repeat.

Return Pass (RP): Yarn over and pull through one loop on your hook (the first loop on the hook). Now yarn over, pull through two loops (loops 2 and 3 on your hook). Continue to yarn over, pull through two loops until you have only one loop on your hook.

Knit Stitch (KS): Insert your hook in between both threads of the second vertical stitch from your hook. Pull up a loop.

Knit Two Together (K2Tog): Knit Stitch through two stitches at a time.

Tunisian Simple Stitch (TS): Insert your hook behind the front loop of the vertical stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop.

Chain an even number of stitches.

Insert your hook into the second chain from hook. Yarn over, and pull the hook out of the stitch. You should now have two loops on your hook.

Go to the next stitch, insert your hook into the  stitch and yarn over, then pull up a loop. You’ll now have three loops on your hook. Insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over, and pull up a loop. You’ll now have four loops on your hook. Continue adding loops to your hook until you have cast on one loop for every stitch of your chain.

Complete a RP.

Row 1: Beginning on the second stitch of the row, K2Tog, TS into the second stitch of the K2Tog. Repeat until you complete the row. KS into the last stitch of the row.

Complete a RP.

And that’s it! Test out the stitch and let me know what you think!

Happy Crocheting!

Crochet addict, bibliophile, and cooking enthusiast. If I'm not sleeping, I'm probably making something while reading (because why do one thing at a time, when you can do two?)

Drawing, painting, and coloring are some of my favorite things to do, so I own a ridiculous amount of art supplies & coloring books. I also enjoy making soap, and even owned a soap shop in Albuquerque for a few years.

Other than that, I've owned a few businesses and have moved cross-country a few times. I play the flute and piccolo, and love to study languages in my free time. I'm fluent in English, Spanish and French, and I speak a little German, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, and Korean. I'm a writer, though you wouldn't know it by the quality of my bio, but I write fiction and fantasy stories. My first novel will be completed soon, and I have a second one in the works.

Someday, I will travel the world with the person I love. We will see and experience all the magic the world has to offer together, and it will be amazing.
