In today’s tutorial, we talked about creating a basic raglan yoke. Keep in mind that this is a super simple pattern that uses no multiples or special stitching. This pattern can be crocheted in ANY size you want, from newborn to adult, all you need are two simple measurements: head circumference and back width, both of which are available below.
Since I posted all of the necessary calculations on the video, I’ll just post the measurements on today’s blog post.

Once you have completed the yoke, you will begin to add length to your cardigan. Below, you’ll find some average measurements for various sizes ranging from newborn to adult sizes. Please note that these are average sizes, they are not always “one size fits all”. For a better fit, you can measure one of your best-fitting cardigans and use those measurements.
