Today’s pattern is the matching scarf for the Argyle Hat. This is a short scarf. It is about half the length of a standard scarf, BUT you can make this longer by just repeating the pattern (start from Row 120 and work to Row 1 so that both ends of your scarf match). Just know, that if you do repeat the pattern, you will end up with a loooong scarf (approximately 70 inches, or 178 cm). So you may need to make some adjustments.

A note on the yarn:

I used KnitPal’s New Mexico Cherry and Silver for the Hat and Scarf in #3 DK. This yarn weight will make a lightweight scarf and hat. You can use a #4 worsted yarn for a thicker project, but pay attention to the yardage! I used all 500 yards of yarn (250 cherry, 250 silver) to make a scarf and a hat.
